Depois de sua saída do Purple, a idéia era lançar um álbum solo, mas o apelo de colocar o nome "Rainbow" foi mais forte.No entanto, no line-up de "Stranger In Us All" não há nenhum outro músico que tenha participado de outros discos do Rainbow.

A sonoridade do disco é perfeita para agradar os fãs de qualquer fase da banda, o play oscila bastante entre as abordagens épicas do Rainbow da era Dio e as viadagens dos anos 80, "Hunting Humans" é provavelmente o momento mais pop do álbum lembrando a última fase citada e ao ouvir "Ariel", Fantástica e Mística... não tem como não lembrar de "Stargazer" e há até momentos que lembram Deep Purple além de passagens em que Blackmore deixa claro sua paixão pela música renascentista, estilo que seguiria após a turnê desse álbum no Blackmore's Night com sua noiva que aqui se encontra fazendo backing vocals.

Apesar de ser impossível comparar com um específico álbum anterior do Rainbow e não conter nenhum integrante "da casa", a identidade da banda continua intacta, com destaque para o ótimo vocalista Doogie White que foi cotado para ser vocalista do Iron Maiden inclusive.Infelizmente o álbum não obteve grande resposta da crítica e nem grande divulgação sendo ofuscado pelo "Purpendicular", ainda assim, é considerado pelos fãs como uma pérola esquecida.

Usando sempre as cores vermelho, branco e azul, jovens bonitos praticavam esportes radicais ao som de Van Halen, Whitesnake, The Police, Kansas, Asia, Yes...
Era totalmente politicamente incorreto, mas todo mundo se amarrava; começou no final da década de 70, rolou por toda década de 80 e por quase toda década de 90.

Journey to the Centre of the Eye é o primeiro albúm da banda de rock progressivo inglesa Nektar lançado em 1971. Devido à sua natureza narrativa, é chamado de uma ópera rock ou álbum conceitual.

Muito bom o som progressivo Dessa banda alemã. Com algumas influências de  bandas como Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Yes e ELP talvez, embora não tão dominada pelo virtuosismo de seus músicos, mas ainda sim consegue fazer um barulho, uma viagem bem organizada de instrumentos buscando o inimaginável.
